Zoey tries out a new passion on ‘Working Me’
Last time on Grown-ish, a new school policy was enacted. Zoey and her friends weren’t sure what to make of it at first. The more they talked about it though, the less it seemed to make sense. When a student announced they were leaving because of it, Zoey was rather shocked. Her and Luca had a fight about this, but worked things out in the end. Now Zoey takes a stab at a new passion on ‘Working Me’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for ‘Working Me’ here:
Zoey decides to give styling a try and offers to help the twins revamp their image in the hope of boosting their social media following. Knowing that sex sells, Jazz wants to play up her sexuality more than the other girls are comfortable with, sparking a conversation about image and empowerment. Meanwhile, Ana’s new romance heats up.
Zoey takes a stab at styling on ‘Working Me’. When Jazz and and her sister want help with a new look, she is happy to help out. They don’t like it at first, but when someone wants to try something bolder she is willing to give it a shot. Things don’t go as planned though, and someone isn’t happy Jazz is doing something like this. As this episode comes to a close Zoey gets some good advice and finds the inspiration she needs to do this the right way. If you want to learn more about Grown-ish click on this website.
