About Tara Fannon
Tara Fannon is a PhD candidate with National University of Ireland, Galway. She received her MA in sociology with University College Dublin. Her main research interests are gender, disability and the body. Her thesis explores personal narratives, embodiment, masculinity and blindness. Tara is involved with Endangered Bodies NYC doing public awareness and development work in masculinities and disability. She also writes for Endangered Bodies NYC, Endangered Bodies Ireland, Metro Eireann and Thesis Talk.
