Dr. Greg Foltz of the Swedish Neuroscience Institute describes the routine and frequency of brain surgery. Computer brain mapping produces a three-dimensional image of a patient’s brain. Once inside, physical mapping occurs. A precise ultrasound device is used to remove a brain tumor.

I think that is so cool that there are three dimensional imagines of the brain. That way the surgeon can see exactly where the tumor is, so they know how to best get it out. Its hard to believe just a few years ago none of this was possible. I think it is awesome how fast medicine is advancing.
