Turns out, the most popular choice amongst the half dozen or so go-to options is the paleo diet, which has a 78 percent positive score over the past 90 days. A perhaps even more ambitious option—going gluten-free—is close behind with a 77 percent positive score, which is followed by the Mediterranean diet (74 percent positive) and a WeightWatchers routine (73 percent). For those willing to give up meat, eggs, and dairy, the term “vegan” returns a solid 69 percent positive score. Sticking exclusively to raw food garners a 68 percent score, which beats out the ketogenic diet (66 percent) and becoming a vegetarian (63 percent). Down in last place is the low-carb Atkins diet, which offers up a 61 percent positive score. –Alex Shultz
