You may see all of those teens (including me) in their phones using Instagram (IGTV), Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat all day long while posting content on all of their platforms every single day.
You don’t understand how they do it so consistently and how they know what to publish.
Don’t worry if you are not social media savvy yet, it’s a process that takes some time to get down but after that it’s all downhill!
I am here to give you some tips that will let you understand why they are on social media all day and why you should give it a little more of your time!
Consistency is king
We are living in a world where everything moves so fast that you are old history in a matter of days, this is why you see all of us publishing on Instagram Stories at least 3 times per day and looking to create a post 5 times per week.
We know how important being consistent is.
Try to publish your own stories on Instagram talking about your day or taking a pic of something that caught your eye.
There is a LOT of content that you can put out if you start to actually look.
Post a story every day, when you are comfortable with that, go for 2 stories per day and then go for 3 and so on.
The idea is to create content everyday so you can put it on your accounts.
Most people think that everything that they post has to be “perfect” when in reality it just has to be good and interesting.
Time is important
So you started creating content everyday and publishing yet no one sees your posts or interacts with them. There is a big chance that you are posting said content in a bad time.
If you are looking for people to see your content you have to think of what people are doing on a day to day basis.
People have to work from Monday to Friday and aren’t using their phones in that time, yet they are using them when they are eating and when they at home eating dinner.
Think of a time of the day when you could publish, where it would have the most impact. That is what you should be thinking about right after creating your content.
Engagement is crucial too
I have talked about this so much that it should be my middle name by now.
If you want other people to go and check your account then you should be creating good content AND talking to other people on ALL of the social media platforms that you are trying to grow in.
Don’t think that because you created a good piece of content you shouldn’t respond to the comments that people left you, on the contrary, you should respond to every comment that they leave you and then look for accounts with similar content and engage with them!
Remember that the word Social on social media is there for a reason!
With this you can get started on social media! Stick around and I’ll make a practical guide where I show you how to use hashtags and how to automate your posts!
Much love to every single one of you!
