Hitched Marketing Co. was founded by Hunter Uptmor and Jarek Rozyskie after the two high school friends decided to go into business together. Growing up in West, a small town in Texas, their bond was strengthened by mutual hate for something they saw at every turn; mediocrity. This sparked the idea to start a business.
The next step?
Deciding which industry to burst into.
In this article, we’ll be delving into the industry they entered, and how they did a complete 180 from being unable to deliver to dominating it on a global scale – read on for the full scoop.
Hunter and Jarek began dabbling in e-commerce and Facebook advertising, embarking on a mission to create amazing lives for themselves. Alongside their online ventures, they both attended their local community college, working as sales managers for a local wedding venue in a smaller, more rural town. Using their newfound knowledge, they ran Facebook ads for them, to no avail. You see, they weren’t just running their ads, but booking and guiding tours and hiring photographers on their behalf.
It soon became clear that they weren’t serving as Facebook ad consultants anymore, but full-time employees! If this wasn’t enough, their advertising efforts weren’t giving the venue their ROI – not acceptable when that’s exactly what you’re hired for.
This was when the two friends stopped, took stock, and immersed themselves in advertising education, learning from some of the best marketers in the game and arming themselves to the teeth with sales and marketing literature. Soon after they were back running ads, and their hard work had paid off – and then some. Before long, the venue was pulling in hundreds of leads – nothing like they’d experienced before. While this would otherwise be cause for celebration, one problem remained: leads weren’t translating to booked weddings.
You see, the venue’s secretary wasn’t following up quickly enough. Instead, she waited days to get back in touch with brides and grooms who’d submitted an inquiry – by which time they’d already fallen in love with another venue. Here, they drew a line in the sand: their mission would be to create a marketing strategy designed exclusively for wedding venues, that would get them hundreds of inquiries every month, while combining it with an automated sales system to convert inquiries to tours, and tours to bookings.
Based on this, and their now-vast knowledge of sales and marketing, they knew they could make a global impact on the wedding venue industry – so much so, they partnered together, and named themselves Hitched Marketing Co. From there, they partnered with a development agency, and fulfilled their mission to put together a sales platform that ran on autopilot for wedding venues, so they could convert more inquiries to booked weddings without lifting a finger. Today, Hitched Marketing Co. is working with wedding venues up and down America – from California to New York – as well as overseas, with venues as far afield as France and the UK looking to them for support.
Even in the midst of a global pandemic, Hitched Marketing Co. is booming and ever-expanding its reach – just how high they’ll climb, nobody knows.
