To the Entrepreneurs in my circle:
I’d like to shed some light on my start in the coaching industry, because it was anything but “simple.” But that doesn’t mean yours can’t be…
Let me know if you’re journey has looked like mine…
I left a salaried position of 12 years, liquidated my savings, and went “all in” on myself. I had NO safety net, but I had a vision.
What I didn’t have was a strategy.
What I didn’t have was a plan.
What I didn’t have was tactical, proven systems to help me.
So, while I was struggling to land clients, I would…
-Cut hair (licensed barber of 15 years) at $20/head
-Take graphic design and web design jobs
-Flip Harleys (mostly sportsters)
-Hustle low-ticket courses
I didn’t have the tools, but I had grit.
I also had a mortgage, bills, and child support…
So grit got it done. But it could have been a shorter journey to where I am now.
I could have collapsed time, had I known then what I know now.
If I had the team I have now.
Maybe you’re in the same position I was:
You have the vision.
You have an amazing offer.
You know you’re called to change the world.
You are landing clients, just not as consistently as you’d like… or need (let’s be real).
If that’s you, I’d like to let you know that I get it. I’ve been there.
I hustled and I learned.
I invested in myself… over 100K last year alone.
I remember not being in a position to afford to hire a coach who’s investment was my current rate. It was frustrating because it wasn’t a lack of will or desire…
I just couldn’t f*cking afford it, no matter how you tried to slice it.
I remember.
