Dustin, Thanks for the article. I agree. This is a turning point moment in human history, where the core of this abusive system is being challenged, opened up so all can see how odious it truly is, and people coming forward to say me too. Now we need to go deeper to heal the wounds.
One of the things I’m writing about is the absent father wound. I’ve found that most of the people I know who abuse others, whether women or men, were themselves abused earlier in their lives. Some of the abuse was overt, but hidden and some of it was more subtle–about fathers who were not present physically or emotionally, or were present but emotionally abusive. It’s time for a change. GMP is one of the leaders, as are all of us who write here.
