It is an interesting debate about where men need to evolve to in order to satisfy their desires and to support women. Supporting men’s groups in workplaces is a start, but again that is just about making the workplace more efficient and less toxic. More of the same really, men have always been tasked with work and being the income provider.
Maybe we are sick of that responsibility. Women now have the means to contribute to that and not just in a support role. The problem with this reworking of the male role is it is fine and dandy to have touchy-feely stuff for men but do women really want that in their partners. Maybe they don’t want real partners at all but just someone to father and financially support their children. In fact, I have heard many older women talk this way, they view men as dysfunctional, not worth the effort and frankly lazy especially after women reach a certain age where they don’t care for intimacy.
