This comment by Juniper on the post Hey Slacker Dad, Parent the Way You Want and Stop Being a Jerk About It
If I ever find myself having a “divorce thought” about my husband, I take one look at him with our children and fall in love with him all over again. Nurturing men are sexy. So are ones that do laundry. Seriously, when a man is being present as a parent and spouse and really stepping up, mama will feel less overwhelmed & more supported. That’s a turn-on. Slacking. Is. Not.

Question of the Day:
Should we as a culture celebrate and encourage couples to work together, parent together and make sure their kids have the best of both parents?

This is a woman talking about her husband saying his help around the house and with kids makes him sexy! Fail to see the problem with that. Do you?
Stop using sex appeal to persuade others. It makes me take you less seriously when you describe things as “sexy.”
Maybe they are just pansexual hey, so let’s respect their sexuality.
As men play a bigger and bigger role in parenting their kids, we should applaud and encourage them to do more, as well as encourage couples, together and apart, to make every effort and allow both parents full access, involvement and contributions to their kids lives. They, we and society as a whole will benefit and be better for it.
