A not so subtle teaser from Sega earlier this month turned out to be revealing a rerelease of Jet Set Radio. The classic Dreamcast game is coming out this summer on XBLA, PSN and PC under its original name. New for this version are upscaled graphics at a true HD resolution. Sega is also holding a contest where the winners can have their artwork featured in the game
Originally released in 2000, Jet Set Radio is a Hip-Hop themed action game set in Shibuya-cho. Players lead street gang, the GG's, as they attempt to take over town by spray painting structures in levels to take them over, while evading cops and rival gang members. Remembered for being one of the first games to use the cel-shading graphic technique and it's pick up and play gameplay, the series hasn't seen an entry since Jet Set Radio Future released on the original Xbox back in 2002.
