17-year-old Austin Coppola wanted to share the spotlight with someone special.
It’s said that twins have a special bond, and Austin was not going to let his high school graduation break that. He told his family that he would not accept his diploma alone. He wanted his brother Ty, who has Down’s Syndrome, on stage with him. In his words:
“This is probably going to be one of the most memorable moments of my life and it means so much to me that he can share it with me,”
And that’s exactly what happened, to a standing ovation.
