As the oleander blossom gracefully floats along the stream, so it becomes an island for the spider. A temporary resting place for this diminutive arachnid.
Soon and according to the whims and vagaries of the currents it will come to rest and slowly dissipate into the water and the land.
The spider meanwhile will weave it’s cunning webs in the canopy of this riparian place, until it too falls into the stream to be reunited with the oleander and untold other temporary life forms.
We too are deeply enmeshed in this the stream of life, no more than another process of gossamer form, floating and merging into ever greater rivers.
