What a joy to it is to walk amongst the stately beeches.
The cool filtered light and columnar form cannot have been lost on the architects of our great Gothic cathedrals.
Here nature has created nave, aisle, and ambulatory and the eye is drawn towards the vault of arching crowns.
Yet, in the interior of this silvan church, no one preaches, no ancient texts are revered and nothing looks for God.
In the stillness of the trees, one realizes that Eden was never left.
