And now the river comes into its own.
It is a cooling, green and shaded oasis that stretches across the fields.
Gradually life is drawn here to find peace against the backdrop of the Andalucián summer.
Today I joined the dogs, freely swimming its length, drifting beneath wild olives and shimmering ash trees.
In this participative connection with the river one becomes animal.
Senses are sharpened as we move with the unfamiliar.
There is a reciprocity with the plants and animals as a deeper and more intimate relation with nature occurs.
It is a feeling of being fully alive within the nexus of the ecology.
Once more, where do the boundaries lie.
