The most dangerous animal on earth isn’t the lion, tiger, elephant, or crocodile.
The animal who is singularly responsible for the most human deaths is the mosquito. Tiny, buzzing in your ear in the middle of the night, letting you know that it’s going to bite you, and there’s little or nothing you can do to prevent it. Maybe you can kill one, but a swarm of mosquitoes carrying an infectious payload is the most living deadly force on the planet.
Conversely, the only animal which has no natural predator is the porcupine. It’s feared not for it’s claws or teeth, but for its deadly quills: a defensive mechanism so potent even grizzly bears leave them in peace. For fear of deadly, autonomic recompense, no beast fucks with the porcupine. It’s simply not worth it.
This is the modus operandi of all who fight for social justice. We are The swarm. You have invoked our ire. Our numbers are legion. We’re coming for you. We will take you down in ten thousand tiny bites.
And if you come for us, ANY of us: you will be sorry.

“Here’s the thing about The Good Men Project. We are trying to create big, sweeping, societal changes—–overturn stereotypes, eliminate racism, sexism, homophobia, be a positive force for good for things like education reform and the environment. And we’re also giving individuals the tools they need to make individual change—-with their own relationships, with the way they parent, with their ability to be more conscious, more mindful, and more insightful. For some people, that could get overwhelming. But for those of us here at The Good Men Project, it is not overwhelming. It is simply something we do—–every day. We do it with teamwork, with compassion, with an understanding of systems and how they work, and with shared insights from a diversity of viewpoints.” —– Lisa Hickey, Publisher of The Good Men Project and CEO of Good Men Media Inc.
