A few recipes for your consideration…
First, how I destroyed my insides:
Breakfast
–Fried Egg & Pork Sausage
–Oatmeal with brown sugar and whole milk
–Wheat toast with butter
–Coffee with cream and sugar
Lunch
–Turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato hoagie on wheat bread drenched in vinegar and oil
–Bag of Lays BBQ chips
–Lemonade
Dinner
–Pork chops
–Green bean, candied walnut, and ham sauté
–Sparkling water
–Dark Lager or tequila cocktail
That was my typical diet pre-2020. Fast forward through a pandemic, add along daily stress and anxiety, and here was the outcome:
–Asthma
–Acid Reflux
–Sleep Apnea
–Terrible sleep
–Prostatitis
–Epididymitis
–Low libido
–Thinning hair
–Weak muscles & joints
–A1C flirting with pre-diabetes
–Borderline celiac disease
I was the ripe old age of 43.
I now eat, one to two meals a day. I fast every Sunday night for 24 hours. The only caffeine I drink is matcha green tea. I take Vitamin D, C, Zinc, Magnesium, Curcumin, TriButyrin, Oregano Oil, Mullein, and Echinacea supplements daily. I get at least 7 hours of sleep every night.
My diet consists of tuna, sardines, salmon, lean red meat, leafy green vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, olive oil, and duck fat.
I’m 45 now and I’ve eliminated or drastically reduced almost all the previously mentioned symptoms and conditions.
Is food medicine?
