Not “sort of”, he has it absolutely right, there is a double standard on body shaming. There is a double standard on how women judge men’s bodies. It’s shallow and sexist for men to discuss which women they find hot but not for women to do the same. “It’s just a bit of fun” right?
What’s the betting that at least one of the comments here will have either of the following statements “now men know how it feels! See how you like it!” or “women have it worse!”
My initial reaction when I read on this subject was to think, “here we go, one more gimmick”.
Not so. Best way to fight body image insecurity. They are starting to do this for women too. Dove has done quite a bit on the “normal” female body.
Honestly, I like that better then the cyborg we usually see adorning magazine covers. I want curves and softness myself.
