In 2018, conservatives and liberals have no lucid margins nor rules or obligations that must be complied with. Extremist behavior is the way to get ahead.
Disagreements over policies and the role of government have alienated Americans in their home, ended friendships, and caused protests. The only thing we have in common is a shared anger and outrage towards those who don’t share our beliefs.
Our identity is found in how we define ourselves politically. Ever more, our political affiliation represents a growing part of how we see and define ourselves. For many political beliefs represent their most important characteristic.
