100 Words on Love, by Ken Goldstein
–
Suppose your perspectives were designed in distant lands,
That the noble truths you jointly embraced could be factored in counterpoint,
That harmony was melody and melody was libretto,
That no temporal argument could really be won and no enduring path could ever be lost.
Suppose there was no scoreboard, no extra innings, no play by play from the booth,
You each had one super fan, you both played to learn, a single tale of triumph beyond the spotlight.
If you saw this story in every glass of wine poured, every shared challenge, every load of laundry –
Then you would know.
