The Tim Ferriss Show: Tim Ferriss wrote the 4-Hour Work Week (a book we HIGHLY recommend reading) and quickly became one of Ric’s favorite entrepreneurs. He has over 450 episodes to date which allows for hours of endless entertainment. Tim Ferriss is funny, witty, and knowledgable which is the perfect recipe for an interesting podcast. He brings on a variety of guests from business to entrepreneurship to fitness to culture and he leads his interviews with poise and originality. He guides interviewees in a way that gives them the space to talk freely without many interjections. 10/10 would recommend.

Armchair Expert: I think Dax Shepard is a gift to this world and his podcast should be celebrated. His interviews give a humanistic perspective to people we see as only celebrities. They talk about struggles with addiction and mental health, the behind the scenes work put into acting and comedy, love, life, and everything else in between. He’s interviewed some of my favorite people and they’re laugh-out-loud funny. In the end, he and his co-host Monica break down each episode with a “fact-check”. Their banter is funny and lighthearted and they provide data to support (or prove otherwise) the things discussed in the interview.

Smartless: This is a new podcast that we’ve been listening to since episode one. Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes host this show as old friends, and I am so happy they’ve entered the world of creating podcasts In each episode, one host brings on a surprise guest for the other two hosts. Their guests are interesting and together, their unique personalities blend well together to create something that’s both entertaining and engaging.

Robinhood Snacks: TBOY (the best one yet, for those non-snackers out there)! Our absolute favorite daily podcast where Nick and Jack bring listeners 3 different, “digestible”, business news stories affecting the economy and the world of investing. As investors, we value their approach to delivering important information in a Hilarious way. There is *literally* no better way to get daily business news in 20 minutes or less.

The Michelle Obama Podcast Another new podcast that we’ve been listening to since (close to) the beginning. Michelle Obama, the queen herself, gives us beautiful conversations with her friends and family discussing relationships, life, and the love between them. It’s an insightful window into the life of our First Lady and the people she admires.

BONUS: If you’re still not convinced to try out one of these podcasts, there are thousands more to choose from. And as far as platforms go, we don’t have a preference. We use Apple, Spotify, and Pandora depending on what we’re into at the time.

My “To Listen” list includes episodes from:
