#26. I want to believe that humanity understands we’re all connected.

1. I want to believe that there’s something more to life than a direct deposit on the 1st and the 15th
2. I want to believe that love is stronger than hate
3. I want to believe that we won’t destroy each other if given the chance
4. I want to believe that people care about each other even when there’s nothing incentivizing them to care
5. I want to believe that people won’t stop caring even if they have a million reasons to do so
6. I want to believe that fear isn’t humanity’s strongest emotion
7. I want to believe that we won’t always do what’s easy
8. I want to believe that sometimes we will decide to struggle even if we don’t have to
9. I want to believe that it’s worthwhile to be vulnerable
10. I want to believe that people won’t think less of a man who admits he needs help
11. I want to believe that we’ve reached a point where men can open up to each other and be emotional
12. I want to believe that we don’t have to put up walls to protect ourselves
13. I want to believe that staying true to yourself isn’t a lost art
14. I want to believe that when I’m afraid, there are people who are willing to admit they’re afraid too
15. I want to believe that I won’t be afraid forever
16. I want to believe that 2nd chances exist
17. I want to believe that the truly evil things human beings have done and continue to do to each other won’t swallow us whole
18. I want to believe that happiness is not fleeting and that it doesn’t it come from a Happy Meal, a can of Budweiser, or an iPhone
19. I want to believe that there’s something more than a comfortable existence with an apartment full of nice things
20. I want to believe that if you push through the pain, something greater awaits on the other side
21. I want to believe that life is nothing like TV, movies, and magazines make it out to be
22. I want to believe that people who have hatred in their hearts don’t speak for everyone
23. I want to believe that we’re conscious
24. I want to believe that caring is not a weakness and that it won’t be exploited by others
25. I want to believe that it’s not a set-up
26. I want to believe that humanity understands we’re all connected
27. I want to believe that one person understanding another person’s plight can help both parties
28. I want to believe that sometimes it’s okay to say nothing
29. I want to believe that sometimes it’s okay to feel like giving up
30. I want to believe that sometimes it’s okay to not be who people think you should be
31. I want to believe that it’s okay to have no idea what comes next
32. I want to believe that we all know how powerful we can be
33. I want to believe that there will be more good days than bad
34. I want to believe that we won’t keep taking without realizing we also need to give back
35. I want to believe that the people who can do the most good won’t be afraid to let their light shine on the world
36. I want to believe that we’re pursuing things we actually want, and that we’re not just pursuing things because someone else told us that’s what we should want
37. I want to believe that the future will be better
38. I want to believe that the things we feel are not manufactured
39. I want to believe that no matter how long we’ve been a certain way, we are capable of changing
40. I want to believe that we can tune out the noise and focus on what’s truly important in our lives
41. I want to believe that, when given the opportunity, people will do the right thing more often than not
42. I want to believe that I’m not the only person who doubts whether or not they’re good enough
43. I want to believe that everything we’ve been told isn’t the whole story
44. I want to believe that we’re learning from our mistakes
45. I want to believe that the end won’t be terrifying
46. I want to believe that all of this means something
47. I want to believe that good things take time
48. I want to believe that when something in life isn’t going well, it will pass
