What was meant to be the first episode of a groundbreaking web-series that focused on the abuse of men (rape, child sexual abuse, sexual harassment, etc.) is the seventh episode of this podcast. Author, advocate, and rape survivor James Landrith talks about his work, his experience and the stigma behind men who have been assaulted – especially if the perpetrator is a woman. William Murray, theologist who holds a Ph.D. in theology with a focus on violence, talks about the pressures in society, primarily in religious societies that keep men silent about the abuse done to them. This incredibly intense and heavy topic is worthy of listening and sharing and I hope that it helps many people who are going or have gone through such situations.
