He’s firing missiles in Syria, his personal lawyer Michael Cohen is under criminal investigation, and he is seething about former FBI Director James Comey’s highly publicized book tour. None of those events are making for a particularly popular POTUS, but Comey’s interview with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday night sent Trump to especially low levels of likability on Social. Comey, who’s promoting his book A Higher Loyalty, spent a large chunk of his talk on 20/20 trashing Trump, saying that he is “morally unfit” for the presidency and that it was possible Russians had compromising information on him. Always ready with a Twitter retort, Trump this weekend wrote that “Slippery James Comey, a man who always ends up badly and out of whack (he is not smart!), will go down as the WORST FBI Director in history, by far!” Trump also tweeted that Comey committed many crimes, though he didn’t specify to what he was alluding. Over the past 30 days, “Trump” has a 32 percent positive score on Social, but that number has now dipped to just 25 percent positive the day after the interview. Since then, Trump has returned to his perch in the low 30’s. –Alex Shultz
