Tor Constantino’s hoops team didn’t make the NCAA Tournament due to scandal—so he turns to trick shot videos instead
It’s downright depressing to be a Syracuse basketball fan these days.
The college decided to forfeit this year’s post-season play given a raft of NCAA violations, while coach Jim Boeheim—the winningest coach in that school’s history—announced his retirement date.
As an S.U. alumnus (’91)—that’s just disheartening.
So much so, I didn’t even fill out a bracket this year because it’s a painful reminder of the embarrassing debacle my school’s hoops program, and its storied coach for more than 30 years, inflicted upon themselves.
As such, I’m boycotting the tournament this year altogether.

Instead, I’ve decided to watch basketball trick shot videos for the month. Here are some early favorites for me, all of which are suitable for kids too.

Those are all pretty awesome—lucky, there’s roughly a bajillion others on YouTube I can watch to get me through the next four weeks (or at least through the Elite Eight round).
