Nothing here is fixed nor permanent.
Mountain becomes boulder, which becomes pebble, becoming sand and then the full dissolution into the great sea.
This fine mist of sediment is deposited upon the sea bed, building layer upon layer, transfigured through heat and pressure into the living rock once more.
Through the fluidity of earth processes this rock is thrust heavenwards as a newly birthed mountain.
Cycle upon cycle, wheel within wheel.
This is the impermanence of being.
