Last month’s Reason Rally featured beloved speaker, debater, and go-to-popular science idol Bill Nye who reminded us of the political and social obstacles ahead of us during this political season and the years ahead.
Science Guy Nye spoke about Ken Ham and Nye’s Ark Encounter, renewable energy, the Great Orange One, and the current generation’s need for science and science literacy.
Nye encouraged the audience to treasure their vote this November and to remember to vote for the candidate who values science and reason above rhetoric and “tradition.”

From his speech:
… I say this often enough: You have to vote. For those of you who don’t want to participate, or [are] cynical about voting — you feel that our choices are not good enough for you and your vote — would you please just sit down and shut up and let the rest of us who want to participate, who want to influence the future, get out there and vote?
Everybody this year, no matter what happens, please take the environment and climate into account when you vote.
