What is it about unleaded masculine power, testosterone racing through our veins as we dominate the field, the battleground? And when combined with another man in our wake, why do we feel invincible together, as if we’ve forged an unbreakable team?
• Have you ever served in a deployment where you were assigned a battle buddy? Or have you clashed and collided in a football game, or other body-bruising sport? If so, have you experienced comradeship with your fellow men players and soldiers?
• Is there glue in testosterone that makes a man fighting for the same goal inexplicably attached to their fellow male teammates? Or does it have to do with the shared goal among teammates, among fellow soldiers?
• Have you met any of your close friends through a shared undertaking such a sports or through another team exercise, while serving overseas, or on base? Do you think your closeness had more to do with the circumstances, or the the fact that you are both men?
• Do you think men bond with other men through battle that they might not have gotten close to in other situations?
• Maybe you haven’t felt a bond with other men in collaborative ventures. Write your story down and send it to us!

The Good Men Project is different from most media companies. We are a “participatory media company”—which means we don’t just have content you read and share and comment on but it means we have multiple ways you can actively be a part of the conversation. As you become a deeper part of the conversation (Which really is “The Conversation No One Else is Having), you will learn all of the ways we support our Writer’s Community—community FB groups, weekly conference calls, classes in writing, editing platform building and more.
