Thank you for this theme ~ shared it with my daughter as I believe we both benefit from it. Here’s a 15-year-old filled with hormones, a rage against his father, and stepfather, whom he thinks are not a necessary part of his world, and mine, who has sought solace with drugs on occasions when I missed the signals.
Because I over-think the why and what happened in every situation, this is a good reminder to let myself off the hook on occasion and remember the goodness of both young men who are awkwardly navigating their perspective potholes.
