Dad Builds Awesome Ice Luge for Possible Future “Olympians”

One dad transforms a brutal winter with record snowfall amounts into an amazing experience for neighborhood kids.

For large sections of this country,  this winter has been a record setter for snowfall amounts, frigid temperatures, wind chills, school closures….etc.

While most of us are more than “done” with this relentless wintry pounding, one dad has embraced it.

In the accompanying video, Christopher Evans shaped massive amounts of snow into makeshift bobsled banks and icy serpentine curves to create a winter action park for his kids and neighborhood.

While not a sanctioned luge run by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), this is an inspiring example of keeping your kids—and yourself—active even when the mercury drops.

And who knows, one of these kids might be inspired to pursue a dream of becoming a bobsled or luge participant of the U.S. Olympic team in the future–you never know, but one thing I do know—this video is awesome.
