This is the Silkweed a real siren of a plant luring the unwary to their deaths.
Unless of course you happen to be a Monarch butterfly.
Nature in one of her genius twists allows the caterpillar of this species to eat this plant without being poisoned.
Insted the toxins are stored in special cells which are passed on to the adult, who displays her magnificent toxicity with garish colours.
