The cycle of nature never ends.
–––
With the death of this bee, life is passed to the tiny creatures of this pool.
Below it, one can almost see the shadow of its former self, still animate within the world.
It spent its life seeking the sweetness of the flowers and in turn passing life to them and their succeeding generations.
Now countless microbes are scenting the sweetness of the bee as it returns to source, its wings still reflecting that ultimate source of life, our sun.
