Is this a deleted scene from The Wire Season 3? No. It’s a real case of good police.
Watching officers play while working may seem strange at first. My eyes look to see if they are carrying their weapons on the court (obvious foul). They aren’t, of course. We are dealing with a common sense world, we must never forget, and in it, good people certainly do exist.
I have never been anti-police, or anti-peace. While children are still dreaming of a better life than what their parents had, we can all support them with positive reinforcement. And we should encourage our role models by thanking them more for their service.
Things will never improve without initiatives like this (they can be spontaneous) that bring union to communities and respect to public servants. We hear about the bad cops, as we should, but we must also call attention to the good ones.
