The magic always happens along the edges.

These places where earth and sky, or land and water, meet are the most abundant and vibrant part of any ecology.
It is truly the edges that create diversity, and of course with diversity comes stability and abundance.
Here on the mountain, this edge effect is both common and the norm. It is why there are so many species and why they are here in such richness.
Diversity brings gifts to any culture, be it human or ecological. The danger has always been the monoculture and the supremacy of any one being.
