As fathers we often push ourselves to be more successful. Sometimes that includes going after a longtime dream, with the hopes it will make a better life for those we love. Sometimes it does the opposite.
• In chasing your dream have you encountered times when you found yourself putting your kids on the backburner?
• Does your responsibility as a father prevent you from going after things you want? Is that brewing resentment within you?
• If you are successfully keeping a balance in home and passion how are you able to do so confidently?
• Is your spouse or significant other also chasing a dream or career? What conversations have you had about staying connected with each other and your kids?
• Have you stopped chasing your dreams because of how it was impacting your family?

As you become a deeper part of the conversation (Which really is “The Conversation No One Else is Having), you will learn all of the ways we support our Writer’s Community—community FB groups, weekly conference calls, classes in writing, editing platform building and more.♦◊♦
Here are more ways to become a part of The Good Men Project community:
Request to join our private Facebook Group for Writers—it’s like our virtual newsroom where you connect with editors and other writers about issues and ideas.

To get the call-in information, either join as a member or wait until you get a post published with us. Here are some examples of what we talk about on the calls.

This is such an engaging and much-needed topic of discussion for men, rather all. When old beliefs keep saying that women are to commit more in parenting and it is very much assumed that only women do the utmost and sacrifices…..this blog topic would definitely let those fathers speak up about their dedication or the way they manage things to juggle career and parenting; inspire more of the modern men to get involved in the process of Parenting and also can prevent people criticising those men. Eagerly await to read more; wish if my father would have been in social… Read more »
