The SPCA says “Dogs this smart deserve a home.” How about a paycheck?

When you see a video titled “Driving Dogs” you kind of expect that either a video editing genius decided to show off, or someone just collected a bunch of videos of dogs who like to sit in the front seat. I’m no video editing whiz, but our two dogs like to think they can drive, and I see a lot of other dogs in parking lots who clearly want to be Mario Andretti when they grow up.
Porter, Monty, and Ginny are all waiting for a “furever home,” but they aren’t waiting idly.

Surprise! No gimmick here. Just smart dogs, dedicated people, and a lot of hard work! To demonstrate how smart rescue dogs can be, this SPCA shelter taught three dogs to drive a specially equipped Mini. Porter, Monty, and Ginny are all waiting for a “furever home,” but they aren’t waiting idly. They’re learning some very important skills. Like playing together, following commands, and yes, driving a car.
