The former SEAL recently faced accusations of misusing charity money to fund his campaign, and although the charges have been dropped, many voters say that additional allegations of sexual coercion, blackmail, and invasion of privacy mean that Greitens has got to go. “The state’s top elected official owes it to all Missourians to answer questions under oath about his alleged crimes and assorted indiscretions,” The Kansas City Star editorial board wrote on Sunday. In a New Yorker piece on Greitens that ran earlier this month, some of Greitens’ fellow Navy vets called him out for grandstanding on his military background. Those criticisms have earned Greitens grief on social media, where he gets 86 percent negative opinions. Dropped charges or not, it seems that Social has already dropped Greitens. –Hugo Guzman
