Down to the final five players, you would think that tensions would be building, but as the show opened we see that the guests were treated to champagne, mimosas and French toast, along with a visit from Mark McGrath.
McGrath of the late 90s-early 00s band Sugar Ray, was a houseguest on the first season of Celebrity Big Brother and I gotta tell ya, he actually ended up being one of my favorite players last season.
The singer came in grabbed a glass, addressed the remaining five and said, “If you’re looking to win third, you’re looking at the right guy.” And with that everyone sat down, though we never really saw anyone take a bite of French toast.
Does anyone else find it odd that they would let amazing looking French toast go to waste?
They went through Former White House Director of Communications Anthony Scaramucci “The Mooch’s” stories from the White House. Or at least what they could get from him. As it was in the White House, he was out of the Big Brother House in six days as well.
Then it was about Real Housewife of Atlanta Kandi Burress and how she doesn’t like anybody. Except for the one person she came in the house hating, sister of Toni, Tamar Braxton.
The “Oh Damn” moment of the evening was when former WWE Diva Natalie Eva Marie told dual Olympian Lolo Jones that they needed a name for their final two alliance. Problem is, Tamar was laying in plain sight right there between Natalie and Lolo.
Uh, foot, meet mouth. Watching Natalie, then Lolo try to backtrack and talk their way out of this situation was pretty funny. Nat, it doesn’t matter how many times you say, I meant to say, “final three,” Tamar ain’t buying it.
For some odd reason, Kato Kaelin decided to do a stand-up routine for Ricky Williams that was neither asked for nor appreciated. I’m giving Kato a D for the “comedy” and an “F” for the bathroom as a venue,
Lolo Jones dropped the bomb of the night when she announced to her roommates, Ricky, Tamar and Natalie that she’s a virgin.
Tamar, as expected, made some inappropriate comments about what Lolo was missing and something about the beach. She was rambling at that point, so I’m not sure she even knew what she said.
Finally, they cut to scenes from the Diary Room, where everyone goes to talk to the camera. I’d tell you what they said, but I’ll let you watch it.
The Celebrity Big Brother Finale is Wednesday night on CBS and you can read about it here on Thursday
