Noah took over The Daily Show from Jon Stewart in September 2015, and though his tenure hasn’t been as successful as that of his predecessor ratings-wise, he’s earned strong support from viewers. Former Daily Show correspondent Stephen Colbert, who scored with his faux right-wing persona on The Colbert Report and now hosts The Late Show on CBS, comes in second with a 58 percent positive score over the same time period. Late-night competitor Seth Meyers, an SNL vet, is sitting at 51 percent positive despite his frequent politically charged segments. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has found a larger audience since the 2016 presidential election and is at 48 percent positive, while HBO’s Bill Maher is a shade below at 47 percent positive. Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd is at 42 percent positive, which is better than two longtime Democratic commentators: MSNBC’s Chris Matthews has just a 35 percent positive score, and Keith Olbermann, who hosts a political show for GQ.com called The Resistance, is all the way down at 33 percent positive. –Alex Shultz
