I remember the day Trump won the election like it was yesterday. I was in NYC on business and I remember people in the street crying, holding each other in fear and not knowing what the future was going to hold.
Daily, it was a fear. What will this man do to our country, what divide will he bring? It was a day-to-day fear that I thought would go away, but it never did.
My fear is what will happen during the next couple of weeks. What will happen? Who will be pardoned? What death sentence will be pushed forward? I know that Trump won’t be going out without a bang, he has already pardoned his friends, and is pushing hard to execute 10 people before his time in office ends. What’s next?
I am still concerned with the fact that the Trump administration is pushing forward on the execution of Lisa Montgomery — read my article on her here.
Since Joe Biden won, I have actually thought nothing really about the future. I have just thought holy shit, things are going to go right for the first time in 4 years.
As I read through Trump’s Twitter tonight then Biden’s there was a significant difference. Trump is hostile, fake, and most of the time just mean. He has nothing nice to say, he’s racist and ends up deleting his tweets. Biden has hope, happiness, thankfulness and brings joy. He shares positive messages and thanks to those that deserve it.
For me, I might not have interesting articles to write about Trump’s weekly screw ups, but I will feel safe going to bed at night.
