A camp “clown” helps children laugh, play and find happiness in a harsh environment.
—
In an after-school program set up by the Relief International agency in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, a Syrian gymnast, and a refugee himself is helping the children forget their troubles by teaching them circus skills like juggling and acrobatics.
Currently, the students practice in a makeshift tent. Their hope is to build a more permanent structure.
