Changing your profile picture does nothing. It’s the very epitome of slacktivism. Did we stop terrorism by changing our profile pictures to the Belgian or French flag? Did paedophilia stop when we changed our profile pictures to our favourite children’s TV character? Did we cure cancer by sharing pictures of candles?! The answer in all cases is “no”.
