Just for fun, because it’s #NationalFrenchFryDay!
A colleague told me today is #NationalFrenchFryDay. Just thinking about it made me want to go into my kitchen and make a batch from scratch. I love the thick and greasy fries made with onions and served with ketchup . . . or barbecue sauce! I’m a carbohydrate addict, I know.
I got sidetracked searching YouTube videos for recipes.
Here is a slightly healthier version than the usual greasy, fast-food joints.

Yes, this looks healthier than grease-soaked fries. But honestly, that was a whole lot of effort and time for a tiny batch of fries!! I wouldn’t bother pre-heating the oven for this little snack.
