An intimidating player on the court but a super good guy outside it. Russell Westbrook is doing it right.

Westbrook wanted to honor “all the hard work she’s done to keep her family together”.
So with the help of Sunbeam Family Services, an organization that works with low income people in central Oklahoma, Westbrook surprised Gonzales with the keys. Not only that, but Westbrook is also paying for her registration and insurance for a year.
“When you see somebody working hard towards a goal and finding ways every day to keep everything afloat for her two boys and her family, you can’t do anything but help them out.” – Russell Westbrook
Westbrook is also very active in his Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation – Founded in 2012, the Foundation is dedicated to support community based education and family service programs while encouraging youth to believe in themselves. The foundation also works to help children that are facing hardships of any kind to face that adversity, fight to succeed, and to never give up.
Westbrook aims to bring life-changing impact to as many people as possible in Oklahoma and he is doing it one person at a time, one day at a time:
“I want to be able to help others any way I can,” – Russell Westbrook
