Ronda Rousey suffered a terrible defeat at the hands of current UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in 2016, but after taking some time out of the spotlight, she’s ready to re-enter the ring, albeit a different one. Like Brock Lesnar before her, Rousey has signed with pro wrestling giant WWE, performing on the Raw brand. It’s not her first WWE appearance, having performed sporadically since 2014. But her high-profile debut on Feb. 25 cemented Rousey as the next big thing in wrestling, or at least Social seems to think so. Rousey’s Twitter followers are pumped for her wrestling career, with 73 percent of the buzz positive, and many referencing her altercation with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. That kind of attention can only be good for WWE, which has seen declining ratings and fierce competition from rival promotions Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. –Hugo Guzman
