There are moments in everybody’s life when you hear something or see something and you knew everything had to change.
For Theodor Herzl, it was seeing the rabid European anti-Semitism of the 1890s at the Dreyfus trial and prophetically seeing that Europe was not safe for Jews. This led him to found a major boost to Zionism, the return to Israel after 1900 years of (Roman induced) exile.
For Imperial England, it was the Gandhi-led march to the sea – and the mirror to their own brutality (combined of course with some pressing economic realities) that led them to allow a peaceful transition to Indian independence.
I had one of these moments during one of the sessions of the Inspired Man Summit, and it came with Charles Eisenstein.
And it comes with a VERY simple question that he asks at the very end of the interview.
I created the Inspired Man Summit to bring multiple voices of the Positive Masculine to the world.
There is so much negativity and confusion in the air.
Nobody will vibe with all of the speakers, but my hope is that participants will find valuable teachers among them.
Today is no different.

When our first guest, my old friend, Michael Ellsberg, was profiled in the New York Times a little over a month ago – I was only half amazed.
Michael is always doing something at the front edge of culture
When I saw he had developed a “consent pledge” to respond to the #MeToo moment, honestly, my first thought was: “You gotta be kidding!”
But then. . . .
But then after reading the article and talking in depth to Mike, I began to see the wisdom of his path.
Even if the idea of “signing a pledge” may not be the answer (I’m not a joiner by nature), the message when you REALLY listen to what he is saying is deeply awakening.
Go in with an open mind. You will emerge with a deeper soul.

Our second session brings us back to more traditional wisdom on putting your life together and how to interact with women so that you can have the happy relationship you’ve always wanted.
Thomas Edwards is known as “The Professional Wingman” (and a poker buddy of mine among an amazing group of coaches in LA) and has been a columnist at some of the best men’s sites in the world. Thomas, as you will see, is wise and warm, assuring and skilled and stays away from the games that ruin the connection between sexes.
To sharpen your dating skills, be sure to tune in.

Then, wrapping up today comes one of the most profound and far-reaching conversations I’ve had during this summit—and frankly—in my whole life.
I have been a reader and “amazed fan” of Charles Eisenstein’s work for a couple of years now.
Charles’s books, The Ascent of Humanity, Sacred Economics—and the one that REALLY got me, The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible—put Charles, in my humble view, at the very forefront of thinkers about THE FATE OF HUMANITY.
Yeah, that’s how deep and wide his work goes.
But don’t take my word for it.
Someone else chose this once obscure writer to feature.
Her name is Oprah.
She featured him on Super-Soul Sunday, which is about as close to a coronation as you can get in America.
This conversation will challenge you on many levels, I hope.
Charles is wake up call to look at our lives and the insane matrix we live inside and seek to change both.
Change the entire story of how culture operates.
From the very foundations.
To me, the core of the change involves what I mention during the talk regarding “a three-year-old child.”
Go here to watch Charles’s training and access the others.

Stop swimming at the shallow end of the pool.
Go deep.
You deserve it.
