Many of us make our way through each day as if on auto-pilot, seemingly unaware of the thoughts and emotions that drive so many of our actions.
As we start to become more mindful, however, we can begin to understand the power that our awareness has; we can start to see how it can help us take back the reins of our lives and lead us to greater happiness, fulfillment, and connection – connection with ourselves, with other people, and with life. As we begin to grow in self-awareness, we can begin to let go of the need to run from ourselves and from life.
We can start to find greater acceptance and meaning in every situation, no matter how it might make us feel.
