The latest hiccup in the Brexit plan involves a rift between Prime Minister Theresa May and Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, both of whom are growing increasingly unpopular. May is set to deliver a major speech on the next steps forward this Friday in Florence, Italy, but she was thrown a curveball last weekend by Johnson. He published his own vision for the country in a Telegraph piece about how he thinks “a bold, thriving Britain” can be “enabled by Brexit.” After the story came out, rumors began swirling that Johnson would be resigning his post—further throwing the Conservative Party into chaos—if May didn’t come to an agreement in advance of her speech about future payments to the European Union as part of Brexit. On Tuesday, Johnson categorically denied that was the case, though only time will tell. Over the last 90 days, “Theresa May + Brexit” and “Boris Johnson + Brexit” draw identical 37 percent positive scores on Social. –Alex Shultz
