Germany’s thrashing of Brazil during the World Cup semi-final is being called “unprecedented” by almost the entire world. In the process of beating the World Cup host nation, Germany broke all types of records. Germany won—clearly—7-1 against Brazil in the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
According to Elite Daily:
It was the largest margin of defeat that Brazil had ever suffered in a World Cup match, and their first loss in a competitive match on home soil in 36 years. Players left the field crying, fans were caught leaving the stadium and the most heralded national team in all of world soccer became the target of a tidal wave of jokes on social media.
