Following the Justice Dept.’s indictment of 13 Russian nationals for attempting to influence the outcome of the election, top Trump officials have been calling out Russia for the campaign of misinformation and espionage. National Security Adviser H. R. McMaster made remarks to that effect at the Munich Security Conference last week; Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and Central Intelligence Agency Director Mike Pompeo have been vocal, too, according to The New York Times. It seems as though the one person who hasn’t turned on Russia is President Trump himself. After the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., Trump suggested that the FBI didn’t zero in on the alleged killer because it was too busy with the Russian investigation, which continues to examine his campaign’s ties to the Kremlin. That has driven Trump’s Social cred to new lows. “Trump + Russia” is pulling 83 percent negative sentiments on 30dB. –Hugo Guzman
